astrometry.net
is a very interesting tool to determine astrometric information
from an astronomical image.
This applet creates AVM
metadata information from the newheader.fits file which
is created by astrometry.net.
Additionally a link is created for displaying the image
in Microsoft's World
Wide Telescope (WWT)
