The walled plain Schickard

nomenclatura© Philipp Salzgeber

Schickard is a vast walled plain and measures 227km in diameter. Hainzel (70km) is in fact the largest of a trio of overlapping craters, the other ones are just called A and B.

Comments: I used a Play/Logitech SNAPPY to get this picture into the computer. The Camcorder sat on a tripod, looking into the eyepiece the way a human would do.

Camera: Sony CCD-TR2200E Pal
