M 13, globular Cluster in Hercules © Philip Salzgeber
On of my all-time favorites, Messier 13 is the brightest globular cluster in the northern sky. On this short summer night with very steady seeing, my 5.1" provided a very nice view of this fuzzball with stars sprinkled upon it like some precious jewels.

The galaxy NGC 6207 is visible as a bluish smudge near the edge of the image to the right of the cluster.
