Aurora Borealis above the Pfänder mountain

This image was made shortly after the digital picture. of the same aurora. As you can see in this image, the clouds started to move in quickly.

The longer exposure time and the use of a highly sensitive film produced an image quality way above my quick-and-dirty digital pic.

This can of Kodak Royal Gold 1000 was the only high-sensitive film I found in my camera bags. It was about 4 years old and stored uncooled! It was a very positive surprise when I found out that it did work!
